I've switched my efforts away from the elves for a bit and I am now concentrating on getting my Blood Angels ready for Toy Soldier. I'm trying somethign a bit radical with my army list which unfortunately means thst I have several items to paint. Here's a quick glimpse of some of the things I'm working on.

Is that a unit of medics with jump packs? Nice.
Those are Sanguinary Priests - keep up with the codex!
Three with jump packs and two without. They give a nice feel no pain and furious charge bubble in a 6" zone around them. It takes serious fire power to shift BA squads these days.
The whatnow? When they make the rules good again, I'll pay attention to the codexes. :-รพ
So, the accursed BA jump packers get cover from a handy blade of grass, FNP and a 3+ basic save as well as being able to run to increase their 12" movement?
Tau Firewarrior hits that Assault Marine on a 4+, wounds on a 3+, punches armour (effectively) on a 5+, then has to beat FNP on a 4+. I make that 1 in 18 kills. So a squad of 10 can kill 1 marine if they get to Rapid Fire before being assaulted and die... And that's now 1 in 36 if you're using IG flashlights...
Crisis suit with a Plasma Rifle I think takes 1 in 9 of those marines...
It doesn't matter if you can see through almost everything on the table if you can't ever kill the target...
Did I mention that I don't like how this version plays?

Class rant.
The problem I have is the amount of heavy weapon shots around these days which negate FNP. Star cannons are marine harvesters (shudder).
It took me a while to get used to 5th but I think I'm almost there now.
