Judwan done!

Wow, that was quick - I only got these primed on Monday and now they're all done, a complete Judwan Dreadball team. That's the first of the season 2 teams complete with three more to go. They were very quick to paint up and maybe not to my best standard but they're ready for play.



I also completed the fist of my MVPs, Mee-Kel Judwan. I'm planning to paint most of my MVPs in team neutral colours but as MKJ only plays for Judwan teams I decided to paint him up with the rest of the team.



I have already made a start on the next team, the female human team but with half term coming up for my daughters it might be a little longer before I can get them completed.

It's clobberin' time!

A couple more bones minis have rolled off the production line, firstly an ogre:-



And also a bugbear:-



Both were nice and quick to paint up. This just leaves me with three more bones to paint up out of the ones I had bought. An unofficial target I had set myself was to get all my bones minis painted before the Reaper Bones KickStarter deleivers and as this has now been delayed it looks like I might achieve this one.

In other news yesterday marked the end of a 12 day period where I was untroubled by my movement disorder following a blow to the head (and subsequent concussion). Unfortunately this might slow me down again but at least the stuff I painted during that time stays in the painted pile.

And here is the last team of Season 1 DreadBall leaving just the MVPs to go. In the end I managed to paint up the Forge Fathers much quicker than I had expected.



As a bit of a change I have started work on a few more bones miniatures, hopefully you'll get to see them soon.

Rats and dwarves and spiders, oh my!

Some more painted stuff, yay! First up we have a giant spider from the Reaper Bones range, I've called him Boris. For some reason my girls don't seem to like him.



Next we have three dwarves who have been clogging up my workbench for a while. I decided it was time to clear some space so I finally got round to painting the last few bits.



And finally (for now) I have my Veer-Myn team for DreadBall. I hate painting yellow but fortunately for this team I didn't need to get a crisp clean paint job. They look dirty and disgusting which suits them fine.



And if things go to plan it won't be long before my next update either - watch this space.

May brings good weather and more miniatures.

And no joining the painted pile is a Crooked Claw catapult sculpted by the Goblinmaster himself. Go support Goblin Aid and get some nice miniatures into the bargain.

Do we need another hero?

Yes, I think we do. This nice chap from Hasslefree miniatures will be taking on the role of Caramon in the DragonLance saga.



Looking at him in close-up I can see areas where my painting could have been better but for the sake of making inroads into my lead mountain I will let them slide. That last 10% (or in this chap's case 20%) of finish can take a lot of extra time which right now I'd rather be spending on painting up more miniatures.

Yesterday I painted a young dragon from the Bones range which has been cluttering up my desk for the last week. A nice easy paint job and now I can add it to the painted pile and use it to threaten the PCs in my D&D game.



I've got several other items nearing completion as well so hopefully I will have at least one more update this week.
